Helen Rutter Visits B For Butterfly Books!

Posted by Michelle Crosby on

I’m delighted to announce that Helen Rutter will be popping into the shop on MONDAY 3rd JULY to sign copies of her brand-new book, THE PIANO AT THE STATION.

Helen is an author, actor and comedian who has appeared in shows such as Coronation Street, Holby City and Jacqueline Wilson’s Double Act. She has written three other books for children, THE BOY WHO MADE EVERYONE LAUGH, THE BOY WHOSE WISHES CAME TRUE and THE FUNNIEST BOY IN THE WORLD.

THE PIANO AT THE STATION tells the story of Lacey, a girl whose smart tongue and quick temper keep getting her into trouble! Lacey discovers a love and talent for the piano but when her piano teacher leaves, Lacey is thrown into turmoil.

Will Lacey go back to her self-destructive ways, or will her love of music save her in the end?

THE PIANO AT THE STATION is published by Barrington Stoke, an award-winning publisher which specialises in stories for children who struggle to read due to dyslexia or visual stress.

Printed on off-white, heavier paper with a unique dyslexia font, THE PIANO AT THE STATION is suitable for all readers aged 8+

If you would like to order a signed and dedicated copy of any of Helen’s books, simply place an order via the website with a note who you would like the book dedicating to.
